Start with your actual route: a Japan–South Korea visit and a Thailand–Singapore trip can need different regional packages. Check every destination in Details instead of choosing on the Asia label alone. For Hong Kong, Macau or mainland China, check the exact coverage entry separately. Count the full time from your first covered arrival to your last day, including gaps between visits, and compare a local plan if most of your time is in one country.

Explore multi-country routes

It can if all three destinations appear in that exact package’s coverage list. Availability changes, and packages grouped under Asia can have different destination lists. Open Details or enter the full route in the planner before choosing.

Check whether the connection’s destination is covered and whether you need mobile data there. Connecting in a covered destination can start the plan’s validity, even during a short stopover. Airport Wi-Fi can be a useful alternative while keeping the travel eSIM switched off until the part of the trip you bought it for.

Install on Wi-Fi before departure so you are ready when you arrive in Asia. Your installation instructions appear in My eSIMs after payment. Keep the travel eSIM switched off until you reach a covered destination. Understand installation and activation timing.

The live plans we list start their validity on the first connection in a covered destination. Installation alone does not start the clock. Each plan also has an activation deadline after purchase; check Details before buying. Enable the eSIM and its data roaming when you arrive.

Keep your home SIM for your number and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, if your phone supports both lines together. Turn off home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Your carrier may charge for calls and SMS. Set up your two lines.

Keep your home SIM enabled to receive texts sent to your usual number. Delivery abroad depends on your home carrier, roaming settings and the service sending the code; it is not guaranteed by the travel eSIM. Check your carrier’s roaming charges and set up an authenticator or backup codes before leaving.

All currently listed plans support hotspot sharing. Up to 5G is available on selected networks and plans. Speeds depend on your destination, device, coverage and network conditions.

These plans provide mobile data only, without a new phone number or a calls/SMS allowance. WhatsApp, FaceTime and other internet calling and messaging apps work over your data connection.

Your phone must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. Use Check my phone above to check the device you are taking. Compatibility varies by model and purchase region. If your phone is locked, ask your carrier to unlock it before buying.
