For Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a beach stay, choose validity for the entire Thailand leg, including transfer days. Allow data for maps, translation, ride bookings and checking your next connection. Save larger downloads and photo backups for Wi-Fi if you want a smaller allowance. A change of hotel or island does not restart the plan’s validity.

Heading from Thailand to Vietnam, Cambodia or Singapore? Compare separate country plans with a regional plan that explicitly includes each destination. Check the allowance against your combined days away, and count time spent travelling between stops when choosing validity. The Asia label alone does not confirm coverage for your route.

Changing destinations within Thailand does not itself require another eSIM. You can continue using the same plan while it has data, validity and a supported network connection. Check the listed network partners and save directions before rural or island excursions. Offshore boat trips are not covered by these mobile data plans.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand notes that hotels, restaurants and cafés offer Wi-Fi for guests and customers. Check with your accommodation about access in your room. The live plans we list start their validity on the first connection in a covered destination. Installation alone does not start the clock. Each plan also has an activation deadline after purchase; check Details before buying. Enable the eSIM and its data roaming when you arrive.

Keep your home SIM for your number and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, if your phone supports both lines together. Turn off home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Your carrier may charge for calls and SMS. Set up your two lines.

Keep your home SIM enabled to receive texts sent to your usual number. Delivery abroad depends on your home carrier, roaming settings and the service sending the code; it is not guaranteed by the travel eSIM. Check your carrier’s roaming charges and set up an authenticator or backup codes before leaving.

All currently listed plans support hotspot sharing. Up to 5G is available on selected networks and plans. Speeds depend on your destination, device, coverage and network conditions.

These plans include mobile data only, without a Thai number or local calls and SMS. Apps you already use can connect over data, but an app or booking that specifically requires a Thai number will need another contact or verification method. Your home SIM remains separate and may incur roaming charges.
