Will you need calls or verification texts?

These plans provide mobile data, without a Thai or Vietnamese number. Maps and internet messaging use that data, but an app may still ask for a phone number when you register or sign in again.

Set up ride and booking apps before departure while you can receive verification messages. If a hotel or service requires a local call or number, arrange another contact method before relying on a data-only plan.

Can I add Cambodia or Laos between these stops?

Yes. Add the actual destination and duration in Edit trip. The comparison checks the extra country rather than assuming it is included in an Asia package.

Should I change the example of one week in each country?

Yes. Enter your own durations and choose the phone habits closest to yours. The amount needed in each country changes with your stay, and the estimate includes a buffer.

Can I share data with a laptop or another phone?

Open Change under Your usage and select sharing to require hotspot support. Sharing uses your eSIM’s data and only works while the devices stay nearby.

Can I keep my usual number?

On a compatible dual-SIM phone, keep your home line for its number and use the travel eSIM for data. Disable home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Calls and SMS, including verification texts, depend on your home carrier and may incur charges.
