Terms of service

The details behind your trip, your purchase, and the connection we help you find.

Check the trip and plan before buying. We provide travel data through our connectivity partners, with clear replacement and refund options when something goes wrong.

Who you’re buying from

ShrimpToast is operated by WEB3 SOLUTIONS LLC, based in Indiana, United States (“ShrimpToast,” “we,” “us”). These terms govern your use of our website, trip planner, and travel eSIM purchases. When you buy a plan, your purchase is with WEB3 SOLUTIONS LLC. Connectivity is supplied through eSIM Access and the mobile networks identified for your plan.

By using the service or purchasing a plan, you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy policy and Refund & replacement policy. The plan details and price confirmed at checkout form part of your purchase.

Who can use the service

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or legal guardian make and supervise the purchase. You must be authorized to use the payment method you provide.

We serve international travelers, but availability depends on the destination, supplier inventory, payment availability, and applicable law. A destination appearing on the website does not promise service at every location or authorize use where it is restricted.

Check your trip before buying

The planner interprets the trip information you provide and estimates mobile data use. Automated interpretation can make mistakes, and an estimate is not a guarantee of how much data you will use. Review the countries, dates, duration, data allowance, number of eSIMs, and plan coverage before paying.

Provide only information you are entitled to share. You can enter destinations manually instead of uploading a booking. Remove passport numbers, payment information, and unrelated personal details from uploads.

Recommendations balance price, data, validity, coverage, and the number of installations or switches. They compare the plans available to ShrimpToast; they are not a comparison of every provider on the market.

Device, installation, and activation

  • Your device must support eSIM, be carrier-unlocked, and support the destination networks. Device checks are guidance; regional models and carrier restrictions can differ.
  • You normally need an internet connection to install an eSIM. Keep the installation instructions and QR code private. Installation codes may be single-use, so do not delete an eSIM while troubleshooting unless the installation instructions specifically require it.
  • Each plan has its own activation deadline and validity rules. Installation and activation are not always the same event. Follow the rules shown for the specific plan, including when to enable it at your destination.
  • Select the travel eSIM for mobile data and follow its roaming and APN instructions. Your ordinary carrier may still charge for calls, messages, roaming, or automatic data switching on your home SIM.

Data-only plans do not include ordinary cellular calls or SMS unless the purchased plan explicitly says otherwise. Internet calling and messaging apps use data. Do not rely on a travel data eSIM as your only means of making emergency calls.

Prices, payment, and delivery

Prices are shown in US dollars unless expressly stated otherwise. Review the total displayed at checkout before authorizing payment. Your bank may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction charges separately.

Purchases are one-time payments, not subscriptions. A top-up or additional eSIM is a separate purchase requiring your authorization. Quotes are time-limited, and we recheck availability and plan information before checkout. If a plan changes, you may need to request a new recommendation.

Stripe processes card payments. We prepare the eSIM after payment has been verified and make installation details available in My trips. Delivery usually happens shortly after payment, but payment verification or supplier delays can take longer. A payment confirmation alone is not a guarantee that an eSIM has already been delivered.

If a paid eSIM cannot be delivered, use Need help on the order for a resolution under the Refund & replacement policy. We do not require the supplier to reimburse us before issuing an eligible customer refund.

Using your data plan

Coverage, speed, network access, hotspot support, data allowance, and validity depend on the purchased plan. “Up to 5G” does not guarantee 5G everywhere. Buildings, terrain, congestion, device capabilities, and local network conditions can affect service. Data may be routed outside the destination country.

Follow the fair-use and other usage conditions shown for your plan. Data expires according to the plan’s terms and does not automatically roll over. Top-ups are offered only when the supplier supports them for your eSIM. If a top-up is unavailable, another eSIM may require a separate installation.

Plan descriptions do not remove your rights when the supplied service fails to match what you purchased. Our refund and replacement remedies still apply.

Access to your purchase and help

My trips uses a browser access cookie rather than an account login. Use the browser in which you made the purchase and save your order number and installation instructions. Clearing site data, using private browsing, or switching devices can remove browser access. An order number alone is not an access credential.

Routine eSIM help is automated: open My trips, choose the order, and select Need help. The flow provides troubleshooting, replacement, and refund options. We do not offer a staffed live-chat or telephone troubleshooting service. Legal and privacy requests, and an inability to access the order flow, can be sent to the contact below; these are not an instant live-support channel.

Use the service responsibly

Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with networks or other users, access another customer’s eSIM or order, submit fraudulent payment or refund requests, or attempt to bypass security or usage limits. You may use the planner and supplied installation instructions for your own travel needs. Our brand, illustrations, and website materials remain owned by us or their licensors.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, unlawful activity, or network abuse. Restrictions do not remove an otherwise valid refund or other mandatory legal right.

Refunds, responsibility, and your rights

Our Refund & replacement policy explains remedies for unused eSIMs, installation problems, unusable connections, and service failures. We do not promise uninterrupted service or a particular speed at every location, but we remain responsible for the obligations we undertake to you.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer guarantees. These terms do not waive any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, privacy, or dispute rights that apply to you.

Indiana law governs these terms to the extent permitted by law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the laws that otherwise apply where you live. You retain any right to bring a claim in a court or consumer forum available under applicable law. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes and will show the updated date here. Material changes apply prospectively and do not reduce the refund or service rights attached to an existing purchase without a lawful basis. Where required, we will provide additional notice or seek agreement.

For questions about these terms, legal notices, or an order you cannot access, email us with your order number if available. Do not send full card details, passwords, or an eSIM QR code.
