Latin America eSIMs.

Write down each country rather than treating Latin America as one coverage area. A Central America journey and a South America journey may need different packages. For several weeks in one base followed by shorter stops, compare the allowance needed in that base with the whole-route regional price. Check every flight connection where you want mobile data, and count the elapsed time across gaps between covered visits.

Only when every destination is listed in that package. The regional browsing groups can overlap, but inclusion in a group does not add coverage to an eSIM. Check the exact country and territory entries before choosing.

Install on Wi-Fi before departure so you are ready when you arrive in Latin America. Your installation instructions appear in My eSIMs after payment. Keep the travel eSIM switched off until you reach a covered destination. Understand installation and activation timing.

Keep your home SIM for your number and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, if your phone supports both lines together. Turn off home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Your carrier may charge for calls and SMS. Set up your two lines.

Keep your home SIM enabled to receive texts sent to your usual number. Delivery abroad depends on your home carrier, roaming settings and the service sending the code; it is not guaranteed by the travel eSIM. Check your carrier’s roaming charges and set up an authenticator or backup codes before leaving.

All currently listed plans support hotspot sharing. Up to 5G is available on selected networks and plans. Speeds depend on your destination, device, coverage and network conditions.

These plans provide mobile data only, without a new phone number or a calls/SMS allowance. WhatsApp, FaceTime and other internet calling and messaging apps work over your data connection.

Your phone must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. Use Check my phone above to check the device you are taking. Compatibility varies by model and purchase region. If your phone is locked, ask your carrier to unlock it before buying.
