Write down every country on your route, including overnight stops and return visits. A France–Italy trip may suit one regional eSIM, while a longer stay in a single country may make a local plan worth comparing. Check the package’s country list for the United Kingdom, Switzerland and any other stop; a Europe label does not mean every European destination is included. Choose enough validity for the whole journey, including days between stops.

Taking trains between European cities, or continuing beyond Europe? Give the planner your full route to compare local and regional setups. One plan can be convenient when it covers all your stops, but it is not always the lowest-price choice.

Explore multi-country routes

Only if those destinations appear in the selected package’s coverage list. Check Details before buying, even when another Europe plan includes them. A region name or an EU roaming rule for a home mobile contract does not establish the coverage of this travel eSIM.

Not when your existing plan covers both destinations and still has data and validity remaining. Keep the travel eSIM selected for mobile data and allow it to connect to a supported network after arrival. Coverage along a train route, in tunnels or at remote border crossings is not continuous or guaranteed.

Install on Wi-Fi before departure so you are ready when you arrive in Europe. Your installation instructions appear in My eSIMs after payment. Keep the travel eSIM switched off until you reach a covered destination. Understand installation and activation timing.

The live plans we list start their validity on the first connection in a covered destination. Installation alone does not start the clock. Each plan also has an activation deadline after purchase; check Details before buying. Enable the eSIM and its data roaming when you arrive.

Keep your home SIM for your number and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, if your phone supports both lines together. Turn off home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Your carrier may charge for calls and SMS. Set up your two lines.

Keep your home SIM enabled to receive texts sent to your usual number. Delivery abroad depends on your home carrier, roaming settings and the service sending the code; it is not guaranteed by the travel eSIM. Check your carrier’s roaming charges and set up an authenticator or backup codes before leaving.

All currently listed plans support hotspot sharing. Up to 5G is available on selected networks and plans. Speeds depend on your destination, device, coverage and network conditions.

These plans provide mobile data only, without a new phone number or a calls/SMS allowance. WhatsApp, FaceTime and other internet calling and messaging apps work over your data connection.

Your phone must be carrier-unlocked and eSIM-compatible. Use Check my phone above to check the device you are taking. Compatibility varies by model and purchase region. If your phone is locked, ask your carrier to unlock it before buying.
