Adding Dublin, Paris or another European stop to a UK trip? Check for Ireland, France and every other destination by name in the plan details. Compare a regional package with separate country plans on total price, data and validity. Neither UK coverage nor a Europe label alone confirms that every stop is included.

Only if Ireland appears separately in the selected plan’s coverage list. Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom, while a visit to Dublin or elsewhere in the Republic of Ireland needs Ireland coverage. For a trip across both, compare plans covering both destinations and check their network partners and validity.

TfL is extending mobile coverage through Underground stations and tunnels, but availability still varies along a journey. Your connection also depends on the plan’s supported network and your device. Keep your home SIM for your number and choose the travel eSIM for mobile data, if your phone supports both lines together. Turn off home-line data roaming and automatic data switching. Your carrier may charge for calls and SMS. Set up your two lines.

Keep your home SIM enabled to receive texts sent to your usual number. Delivery abroad depends on your home carrier, roaming settings and the service sending the code; it is not guaranteed by the travel eSIM. Check your carrier’s roaming charges and set up an authenticator or backup codes before leaving.

All currently listed plans support hotspot sharing. Up to 5G is available on selected networks and plans. Speeds depend on your destination, device, coverage and network conditions.

These plans provide mobile data without a UK number or a calls/SMS allowance. You can use internet calling and messaging apps with that data. For texts to your existing number, keep your home SIM enabled and check its roaming terms; delivery depends on your home carrier and the service sending the message.
